Full Time Mechanic Position

Description: Mechanic
- Pay range for a mechanic is $17.00 to $35.00 per/hr. (starting rate is based on skill level and experience.)
- Skill based pay rate reviews every 12 months (with advancement potential)
- An ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of mechanic/tank & trailer repair experience.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License; Background Check
- High School Diploma, GED or higher education
Demonstrates skill in most of the following areas:
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on trucks and trailers.
- Tank service and repair
- Knowledge of air brake systems and repairs
- A working knowledge A.B.S. systems

List of Skill Requirements and Physical Demands:
Keehn Service takes pride in our work and has only the highest standards for our employees. A Keehn Service mechanic must be able to:
- Perform brakes/suspension/electrical repairs as needed
- Perform trailer repairs
- Work in confined spaces
- Have knowledge of piping and component assembly
- Perform PM/FHWA
- Perform collision /structural repairs
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Work well both individually, and with coworkers
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (75 pounds with assistance)
- Welding experience preferred but not required
- Ability to fit into a tank/ trailer manhole (15”) preferred but not required
